Effective February 4, 2021, Niyam is certified in ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 20000-1:2018. These certifications come in addition to our preexisting ISO 9001:2015 certification. Certification was conducted by Concept QA Labs.
We are proud to add these accreditations after an extensive audit of various processes. Each certification came with its own set of challenges and evaluations which we overcame with confidence.
ISO 27001:2013 contained a review of our Information Management Security System, or ISMS, centered around physical security of facilities, personnel, and assets. On top of that, it reviews IT security for all of our internal systems and information. Google and Microsoft are a few tech companies who have received this same certification. Receiving this recognition shows that we govern ourselves with a rock solid information security management system. Our practices are tried, true, repeatable, and proven effective by industry standards.
ISO 20000-1:2018 was a review of our IT Service Management System (SMS). This certification highlights our ability to design, transition, deliver, and improve our services and deliverables to clients through our IT services, IT enabled services, human resources augmentation support, help desk services, and recruitment services. Using our current FEMA Enterprise Identity Management System (FEIMS) project as a baseline, we defined our high benchmark for success. The results proved that we achieve our goals regularly.

All Software Design and Development, Operations and Maintenance, Infrastructure Management, Project Management, Organizational Administration, Physical Security, and IT Security activities have been externally audited and measured against ISO-defined best practices. This will enable us to grow as a company. We have a process for reviewing how effective we are in improving our processes and controls.
